It has opened its doors after a multi-million pound investment

A brand-new multi-million-pound waterpark has thrown open its doors in Kent, as part of a massive investment by Haven. Lost Lagoon Waterpark welcomed its very first visitors at the Kent Coast Holiday Park, near Rochester, on Tuesday (July 7).

TV star Joe Swash joined The Seaside Squad to cut the ribbon at the £12million attraction. Local councillors, schoolchildren and members of the Haven team were also on hand for the grand opening, as guests were treated to their first glimpse of the newly completed family destination.

The waterpark forms part of a broader £50million development programme at the site, representing one of the most significant investments in Haven's history. It boasts a range of slides, splash zones and swimming areas designed to cater for all ages and abilities in the water.

Simon Palethorpe, chief executive officer of Haven, said: "The Lost Lagoon Waterpark is a fantastic addition to Kent Coast and a great example of how we're continuing to invest in the experiences that matter most to our guests. Whether it's the excitement of the waterslides or families simply spending quality time together, it's all about creating more memories that last a lifetime.
