Queen Camilla made an appearance at Wimbledon 2026 on Wednesday and brought her grandchildren along for the main event.

Well, at least by way of her jewelry.

Wearing a brilliant blue mid-length dress and leather ballet flats, Camilla chose a gold and ruby necklace around her neck that bears the initials of her five grandchildren.

The necklace boasts a gold disc with a ruby in the center, which is her birthstone. On the flip-side of the pendant are the initials “L,” “F,” “G,” “L,” and “E” to represent Lola, Freddy, Gus, Louis and Eliza.

Son Tom Parker Bowles is father to Lola, 19, and Freddy, 16, while daughter Laura Lopes is mom to Eliza, 18, and twins Gus and Louis, both 17.

She later wore the necklace on Thursday for a visit to the London Zoo, paired with an animal-print shirtdress from British designer Fiona Clare.

In a 2022 interview with British Vogue, the queen famously stated the sentiment most grandmothers share, telling the publication, “You know the nice thing about being a grandmother is that you can spoil them occasionally, give them more of the things that their parents forbid them to have.”

The necklace has been worn on a few notable occasions, often at times of personal strength rather than professional.

She chose the ruby disc for her first outing after King Charles’ cancer diagnosis as well as her state visit to the Vatican this past fall.

At Wimbledon, in addition to her cherished pendant, Camilla chose a pair of turquoise and diamond drop earrings to match her bright blue look.

They are a triple drop — first a diamond cluster stud, then a turquoise cabochon, and then a larger turquoise cabochon surrounded by 8 diamonds.

Though the specific origin of the earrings are unknown, she was first seen wearing them in public in 1998 for the celebration of King Charles’ 50th birthday.

She has worn them countless times since — from state dinners to musical event and award ceremonies — often with it’s coordinating bib necklace.
