Chelsea are finalising a £34.5m deal for Atletico Madrid striker Samu Omorodion, as Conor Gallagher travels in the other direction to complete his medical.
The Blues have again been amongst the Premier League's biggest spenders in the summer transfer market with five new stars arriving through the ever-revolving door at Stamford Bridge.
Gallagher's impending arrival marks a quick piece of business between the two clubs and relatively unknown striker Omorodion is set to be Chelsea's newest arrival under Enzo Maresca.
Atletico are keen to recoup finances after splashing out £81m to Man City on Julian Alvarez as the 24-year-old prepares to leave the reigning Premier League champions for a switch to a warmer climate.
Rising Spanish star Omorodion only joined Atletico last season and spent the duration of the LaLiga campaign on-loan at Alaves, scoring eight goals in 35 appearances.

Bizarrely, Atletico will make an expected £29m profit on a player that has never played for them after they previously forked out just £5.1m to Granada for the striker last year.
Omorodion is set to be rewarded with a seven year contract by the Blues that will also contain the option of being extended for a further year.
His aggressive physicality in the penalty box is believed to be attractive to Maresca who wants to bring in more attacking reinforcements ahead of the Premier League campaign getting underway.

Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher has travelled to Spain to undergo his medical at Atletico Madrid
However, the player will have to wait to undergo a medical at the Blues as he is currently featuring as part of Spain's squad at the Paris Olympics.
Nicolas Jackson operated as Chelsea's sole central striker last season, scoring 14 goals in the top-flight, while Cole Palmer was relied upon to score goals from a wider position.
Christopher Nkunku also expects to play a more contributory role in Chelsea's first season under Maresca after spending the majority of the last campaign battling injuries.
Chelsea academy product, Gallagher, is expected to start his medical at Atletico on Wednesday evening ahead of a £36m move to become a rare English arrival in Diego Simeone's squad.
