Ruth Langsford earned a whopping £585,000 pay day last year as she continues to flourish following her divorce from Eamonn Holmes.

The presenter, 65, launched Devon based private company Hey Ho Limited in 2013 to take in earnings from her various TV commitments and endorsements, among them a partnership with supermarket giant Tesco.

Accounts for the 12 months to the end of May 2025 show she paid herself a dividend of £585,000. In 2024, she took £770,000. The figures show the firm retained £741,000 in cash.

And she’s on course for another big payout because her new memoir is already a bestseller - just hours after being published.

Feeling Fabulous: Be Your Best Self, No Matter what Life Throws at You shot to number eleven on the Amazon book charts and number one in the Beauty and Fashion category.

Publishers said of the book, which retails for £11.00: 'Up and down the country, people love Ruth Langsford's zest for life and ability to find the humour in any situation.

'Every day through her work at Loose Women, she meets people who have been through the most astonishing highs and lows. Her warm and open interviewing style has made her one of the UK's favourite broadcasters.

'Now, in her first-ever book, she's opening up about her own ups and downs like never before.

'From her rebellious school days to starting out in telly, Strictly Come Dancing and her close bond with her family, she's sharing the experiences that have shaped her and the lessons that she's learned along the way.

'Throughout everything, Ruth has retained her trademark humour and sense of fun, and now she wants to share how she's found her way back to feeling fabulous, no matter what.”

The popular presenter split from husband Eamonn Holmes in May 2024. She said the breakup was "devastating", admitting it felt "impossible to survive" in the initial period.

Holmes has since embarked on a new relationship with relationship counsellor Katie Alexander, 44, some 22-years his junior, while battling a spate of health issues, among them slipped discs and ongoing spinal problems.

The presenter also revealed that a tax row with HMRC had cost him more than £1million and two houses – and he still owes a quarter of a million pounds.

The Northern Irish broadcaster branded HMRC as 'thieves' for 'ruining him' and revealed the saga has cost him a home in Belfast and a holiday pad in Portugal.

Holmes - who has worked for the likes of GB News and and ITV - claimed tax officials ruled he was a staff member with broadcasters rather than freelance.

He said the tax office requested 10 years worth of back tax and national insurance as a result of the employee status change.

The presenter claimed he has already paid over £1million back since - but despite selling his two homes still owes a whopping £250,000.

Speaking to the Belfast Telegraph, he said: 'And they basically, at the most vulnerable time in my life, they wrecked me financially.'

In her book, Langsford revealed she would often cry in the shower before work following their separation.

She expressed a "deep loss" and found it "incredibly hard to come to terms with" the end of their 26-year relationship, having expected to be with Holmes "forever".

Langsford stated she has accepted the end of her marriage, despite not being happy about it, finding that fighting against the inevitable was "exhausting and pointless".

The Loose Women presenter, who is not ready for a new relationship, also acknowledged that the public nature of their divorce was the "hardest" aspect.

In February, she returned to ITV studios for an appearance on This Morning, the show she presented alongside Holmes every Friday between 2006 and 2021.

Discussing their difficult marriage split with presenters Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley. she said: 'Listen, here I am in the studio where Eamonn and I worked together for many, many, years. And very happy.

'Not everything lasts forever, you know, the hardest thing is having it played out in the public domain.

'And that just goes with the territory, that just goes with the job. I accept that.'

She added: 'Again, it's more, I don't discuss our divorce, our relationship breakup, what I do discuss is picking yourself up, dusting yourself off and starting all over again, as the song says.'
