Over 1.5 billion downloads. Used in everything from self-driving cars to medical imaging to robotics. OpenCV has become the backbone of modern computer vision — and it all started with one person.

Gary Bradski, the founder of OpenCV, is coming to OSCCA, the OpenCV-SID Conference on Computer Vision & AI, on May 4th in Los Angeles as part of Display Week 2026.

Few people have shaped the field of computer vision more profoundly than Gary. After founding OpenCV at Intel Research and leading the vision team behind Stanley, the autonomous vehicle that won the $2M DARPA Grand Challenge and helped kick off the autonomous driving industry, he has spent decades at the forefront of AI, robotics, and machine learning. His OSCCA talk is a rare opportunity to hear directly from the person who made computer vision accessible to the world, and to find out where he sees it heading next.

And that’s just one talk. OSCCA brings together world-class speakers from Ultralytics, Looking Glass Factory, Disney Research Imagineering, Procter & Gamble, Code 19 Racing, and more all under one roof for a full day of computer vision and AI at the highest level.

Your OSCCA ticket also includes free passes to the Display Week Exhibition Hall (May 5–7), including the AI Pavilion — a dedicated section of the exhibition floor spotlighting the companies and technologies shaping the future of AI. With 200+ exhibitors and 7,000+ attendees from across the display, imaging, and tech industries, it’s an extraordinary bonus on top of an already packed day.

We’ll see you in LA.
