Supporters of convicted killer Karmelo Anthony have shared shameful AI generated images of themselves desecrating Austin Metcalf's grave.

The images have circulated online after Anthony, 19, was sentenced to 35 years behind bars on Tuesday for the April 2025 killing of Metcalf, 17.

The disturbing pictures show numerous individuals smiling as they urinate on a grave marker for Metcalf.

One of the individuals posted it to her Facebook, captioning her post: 'F*** AUSTIN METCALF', followed by several middle finger emojis.

Alongside the post she used the hashtag Free Karmelo Anthony. After outrage to her post she added: 'At the end of the day Austin still dead and p***** on.

'F*** all you Austin supporters, go eat a d***.'

Similar images circulated on two other Instagram pages appear to have since been deleted by the owners.

The images sparked anger from X users including Megyn Kelly, who posted: 'This is one of the most inhumane things I’ve ever seen. Pure EVIL'

The verdict prompted a fierce backlash from Anthony's supporters who say he was discriminated against because there were no black members of the jury.

The AI images emerged after social media users started videoing themselves approaching strangers and accusing them of being on the jury.

One video posted by a user in Jacksonville, Florida, showed a man on a bike confronting another person who appeared to be homeless, sitting on a sidewalk.

The cyclist said, 'Hey, wasn’t he on jury selection?' before hitting him.

A woman standing nearby said, 'No, he wasn’t, seriously, no, he wasn’t,' and added, 'He’s a vet, dude.'

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office confirmed to the Daily Mail that it is investigating the video.

Anthony sobbed in court on Tuesday and his family burst into tears as the judge handed down the verdict, his mother begged the jury to show him mercy.

There was an audible gasp in the Texas courtroom when his 35-year sentence was handed down shortly after.

Austin's father Jeff sat down with CBS News following the sentencing. It was the first time the grieving father had spoken out after being placed under a gag order.

He expressed sorrow for Anthony while saying that his son's death was never about race.

He told the outlet: 'Look at the effect, not just the effect here between the Metcalf family and the Anthony family. Look what it did.

'One, to those kids they have to live with. Two, it took on this huge wider 'Let's have a race war throughout the nation.'

'This case was never about race. There's going to be those people now, just, you know, try to throw shade on the whole trial with the jury makeup and the speed of it and that sort of thing,' he continued.

'I mean, those are the same people that said he was jumped by four people. He had, his phone was broken. You're going to spin whatever story to try to keep yourself afloat.'

'I'll even say this: I had a little bit of sorrow because I'm human. And that poor boy is fixing to experience a life that I would not wish upon anyone,' he added.

Metcalf said that he believes Anthony should have been handed a life sentence, and said that when he is up for parole in 17 years he will attend the hearing to argue against it.

Austin was stabbed once in the chest. The knife pierced through his bone in the center of his chest and punctured the right side of his heart, a medical examiner testified.
