Manufacturers Trust Company BuildingBy tallturtle82(2026-07-13)The Manufacturers Trust Company Building, also known as 510 Fifth Ave, is the first bank building built in the United States in the International Style. The International architectural style started in Western Europe in the 1920's and dominated until the 1970's. The building opened in 1954 and housed the Manufacturers Hanover Corporation. The structure has four stories, a penthouse and a bank vault.
The building is considered a New York City landmark. The exterior was designated as such in 1997 and the interior in 2011.
