The peak of this current heat wave starts today and continues through Thursday when temperatures reach the mid/upper 90s. The record for today is 99°, set back in 2024; we will come close to it. Some wildfire smoke will return to the skies over Central PA through Friday as well. So if you see a milky or hazy appearance to the sky (like yesterday!), that’s why. Rain chances will remain low through the work week, and dewpoints don’t get above 70°. While it will be slightly humid, this will be a dry heat with very little threat of rain.
