Goodwill Opportunity Centers offer free career services in Chattanooga and Dalton

Goodwill Opportunity Centers in Chattanooga and Dalton will host two community hiring events in conjunction with McDonald’s during the month of July.

The hiring event at the Goodwill Opportunity Center in Dalton, inside the Goodwill store at 1001 Market St., will be held on Wednesday, July 8, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.  

The hiring event at the Goodwill Opportunity Center in Chattanooga, next to the Goodwill store at 7601 East Brainerd Road, will be held on Wednesday, July 15, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.  

McDonald’s is hiring management and crew positions for restaurant locations in Chattanooga, Dalton, East Ridge, Fort Oglethorpe, Lookout Valley and Soddy Daisy. Starting pay ranges from $11 to $15/hour. 

In addition to hosting hiring events, Goodwill Opportunity Centers offer free career services, including career assessments, job search support, employment-readiness assistance, digital skills training, financial and nutritional education and resume and interview preparation.
