Ace Pickleball Club, a rapidly expanding national pickleball franchise with a community-focused approach, is announcing the upcoming opening of its new club in Hixson on July 3. Located at 5450 Highway 153 Unit 198, the new 46,000-square-foot club is expected to bring about 25 new jobs to the local community and will cater to the growing demand for pickleball locally, offering members the flexibility to play whenever their schedule allows for a flat monthly membership fee.

No more competing to reserve a spot or waiting in long lines for a chance to play – APC’s offering of Open Play all day, every day lets members get their games in without the hassle of coordinating with others, or any additional fees.

In appreciation of the Hixson community, Ace Pickleball Club is now offering the first month of membership free ahead of its grand opening.

APC Hixson will be brought to life by Don Jacobson III, a longtime Chattanooga-area resident, fourth-generation spring manufacturer, and community leader. Mr. Jacobson has lived in Hamilton County for 18 years with his wife, Sara, raising their three children locally. His family has operated a manufacturing business in nearby Collegedale since 1968, and he currently serves as chairman of the Chattanooga Regional Manufacturers Association.

In addition to his manufacturing background, Mr. Jacobson has spent the past five years teaching VEX Robotics in Chattanooga. A lifelong racquet sports enthusiast, he discovered pickleball as a fun, inclusive way to stay active and connect with his family.

As a local player, Mr. Jacobson enjoyed Chattanooga’s outdoor courts but saw the need for a climate-controlled facility to support year-round play. After visiting Ace Pickleball Club in Roswell, Ga., he was inspired to bring an Ace Pickleball Club to Hixson, a growing hub for families and commerce.
