Vitruvian Health Care System announces the appointment of Chris Self as its new chief strategy officer effective June 8. Mr. Self will report to Jeff Myers, president and CEO of Vitruvian Health.

Self brings more than 22 years of healthcare leadership experience to the system CSO role, with a proven track record in strategic planning, hospital operations, physician enterprise development, market expansion and organizational growth. Most recently, he served as president and CEO of the AdventHealth hospitals in Gordon and Murray counties in Georgia. Prior to that, he served as president and CEO of AdventHealth Manchester in Kentucky.

Throughout his career, Mr. Self has held numerous leadership positions, including vice president and CEO at AdventHealth Manchester, administrative director of Behavioral Health and Business Development at AdventHealth Hendersonville in North Carolina, and director of Strategy and Business Development at AdventHealth Kissimmee in Florida.

Mr. Self earned a master of business administration degree from Webster University and a bachelor of science in marketing from Southern Adventist University. He currently serves on the board of directors for the Georgia Trauma Foundation and has previously served on the boards of both the Kentucky Hospital Association and the Georgia Hospital Association.
