The TOWIE stars were once best friends but had a high-profile falling out which has spanned years
The Only Way Is Essex fans have been desperate to see two of the show's most iconic stars rekindle after a spat that has now lasted years.
Bobby Norris and Gemma Collins were once inseparable but haven't been seen together in a long time. The pair had a big falling out, reportedly over one of Bobby's past relationships, though neither party has confirmed exactly what went down in any great detail.
The closest fans got was an interview Bobby gave to The Sun in which he hinted that it involved one of their co-stars. He explained: "It was something to do with a past relationship 100 years ago.
"It would never be for me to tell someone who they can and can’t be friends with, but something had happened when I was with him while she was there. It’s a long story and...it just becomes a little bit messy to go into."
While Gemma left the reality show back in 2019 and Bobby a couple of years later, fans still haven't forgotten about the duo and their once enviable relationship.
However, there's hope on the horizon for reality fans heavily invested in seeing them repair the friendship. In a fresh interview with OK! Bobby revealed he would be open to putting the past spat behind them.
When asked whether there was any hope of the pair rekindling things, and what it would take for that to happen, Bobby answered "never say never."
Speaking exclusively via OLBG, the reality star continued: "Like I was saying about the whole going back to TOWIE thing, mentality wise, we're older now. Do you know what I mean? Sometimes you've just got to know when to draw a line under things, but we'd have to talk."
As for his own on-screen career, Bobby revealed there were "big things to come." He elaborated: "There is something in the pipeline, but I'm loving presenting and hosting. I did SAS a couple of years ago and I loved that.
"I'm someone that lives life, so if something comes in as an offer, we look at it, me and my management. Do you know what I mean?"
Gemma has previously extended an olive branch to Bobby, commenting "all my best love" under a video clip of his appearance on This Morning back in April this year, in which he opened up about undergoing a face and neck lift at the age of 39.
It came after she previously recalled calling Bobby with fellow TV personality Chloe Sims, but he didn't answer the phone. Speaking on the Wright At Home podcast, Gemma shared: "I'd love to see Bobby again, I don't know where he is.
"I did call him with Chloe Sims, 'cos when she comes over from LA, she doesn't live far from us actually. I said, 'Come on lets ring Bob.' Rung. Did he answer? No."
TOWIE Season 1 to 37 are all available to stream now via ITVX.
