A road in Derbyshire has been closed by police after a crash.
The collision has taken place on Ashover New Road in Alfreton, Derbyshire on Friday evening, July 17.
Due to the nature of the crash, the road will remain shut for 'some time' - drivers have been told to avoid the area until emergency crews have completed their work.
Derbyshire Constabulary said in a statement: "Ashover New Road between the junction with Badger Lane and Temperance Hill in Woolley Moor is currently closed due to a collision.
"The road is expected to be closed for some time so please avoid the area and find an alternative route."
