The International Bluegrass Music Association is now accepting applications from local Chattanooga artists and bands to perform during Pickin’ in the Park, the free outdoor portion of IBMA Bluegrass Live! 2026.

Pickin’ in the Park will take place Oct. 23–24 in the heart of downtown Chattanooga at Miller Park and Miller Plaza. This two-day, open-to-the-public celebration will feature live bluegrass music, arts and crafts vendors, food trucks and family-friendly activities in a relaxed, festival-style setting.

IBMA is specifically seeking local Chattanooga talent to be part of this community-focused programming.

Application Deadline is Friday, July 24 at 11:59 p.m.

Pickin’ in the Park will showcase a diverse lineup including college bands, Kids on Bluegrass participants and local artists, offering attendees a free, inclusive way to experience live bluegrass music.

While outdoor events are free and open to all, tickets will be required for IBMA Bluegrass Live! indoor performances. Additional details on ticketed shows will be announced soon.
