MOSCOW, March 4. /TASS/. Ukraine is constantly brought up in personal contacts between Russian and Belarusian presidents Vladimir Putin and Alexander Lukashenko, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told a briefing.

"Ukraine is discussed each time the presidents meet. This issue is constantly on the agenda," the Kremlin spokesman pointed out.

The conflict in Ukraine is one of sources of instability for Belarus. President Alexander Lukashenko said that Western patrons demanded that the Kiev regime drag the republic into an armed clash.

The government agencies in Kiev are also deploying Belarusian nationalist units in this conflict.

Meanwhile, NATO's support for Ukraine poses a growing threat to Belarus’s western borders. According to Lukashenko, the danger to the republic from the alliance is increasing, as not only Lithuanian and Polish troops are stationed there, but also forces from other NATO countries, including Germany.
