My name is Jordan Parker, owner of Direct Flooring in Chattanooga. I’m third generation of the flooring industry, born and raised here in Chattanooga, and graduate of McCallie School ‘00.  I was early to begin my professional career, and started my business in 2004 at the age of 22.  Since 2004, I have built Direct Flooring from the ground up. 

The first six years of starting my business were incredibly difficult. As any small business knows, it takes an incredible amount of passion and work to build the foundation.

 Fortunately, I was able to utilize business guidance through the business incubator, as well as joining local Chattanooga networking groups and associations. These relationships and resources were integral for helping me build a solid foundation in the Chattanooga business community.  

One of my most significant business Investments was purchasing my first building located at the corner of Dodds Avenue and Rossville Boulevard. Most importantly, this area was both convenient and affordable.  Although Rossville Boulevard (at that time) had a negative image - quite frankly the boulevard always felt like a good business opportunity. The affordability and convenience of Rossville Boulevard allowed Direct Flooring to easily service all of Chattanooga. 

Since this first property investment in 2010, Direct Flooring has purchased four additional locations - all with the continued offerings of flooring and surfaces. All are on the Boulevard, as well as two additional warehouse locations just over the line in Rossville, Ga.  Simply stated… We have believed in the Boulevard since 2010.

I would personally encourage all local small business owners to consider the affordability and convenience of Rossville Boulevard. This area has an incredibly rich history of successful businesses. At Direct Flooring - we learned that we could attract people from all over our region - given the right marketing, products and service offerings. 

Today - we are proud to say that Direct Flooring is the highest rated flooring store in the Southeast, as well as the second largest sub-distributor of MSI waterproof flooring. We are excited for all of the new businesses moving to Rossville Boulevard, and we look forward to sharing a bright future for this area.
