Residing in a country where we are free to vote in each election is a privilege that was fought and paid for 250 years ago. It should not be taken for granted and the privilege should be exercised. Early voting starts today and several locations are available to make it convenient for most residents. 

The county mayor is a general election and we have a chance to continue with the proven leadership of Mayor Weston Wamp. Mayor Wamp did not come up with a silver spoon, rather the normal life of most young people who have to work for whatever privilege is permitted of them.  To assert differently is just silly. 

Mayor Wamp has continued the good works of his predecessors and has added value to our county. I want that to continue. I want our schools protected and I want sports and band fields for recreation and practice. These are important components for a healthy and thriving community. Don't be caught thinking to yourself "I could have, and should have and for sure wish I had."
