Trooper helps rescue kitten from vehicle on I-91

A kitten is safe thanks to some help from a Connecticut State Trooper and a good Samaritan last week.
A trooper was called to I-91 near exit 4 last Monday to meet with a good Samaritan that had reported a kitten who fell into a storm drain.
The good Samaritan rescued the kitten from the storm drain and placed it inside their vehicle.
State police say the scared kitten climbed up the dashboard and eventually got into the air duct compartment.
The trooper was able to rescue the frightened kitten from the vehicle.
The kitten is now safe.
