The Summit High School Alpine ski team is set for the Colorado Alpine state skiing championships in Aspen from Thursday, Feb. 20, through Friday, Feb. 21.

Summit concluded its slate of regular season races on Friday, Feb. 14, when the team competed at Keystone Resort in the giant slalom.

In total, 17 athletes will compete across the two-day state championship event in Aspen. The competition will kick off with the giant slalom race on Thursday before the slalom race on Friday.

Summit’s group of state-qualified athletes include: Mackenzie Cross, Kilee Blakely, Kristiana Stoyanova, Lauren Leffel, Claire Jackson, Katelyn Lemon, Zoe Nelson, Alex Stoyanova, Lily Foss, Sadie Slahetka, Seth Montgomery, Bergen Harberts, Aaron Green, Wyatt Lyman, Emmett Dalzell, James Sowers and Tegan Snyder.
