I just got a new camera that has a slot for a CFExpress Type B card. I bought a Lexar dual slot card reader. The photos from the SD card slot show up in LR. The photos from the CFexpress Type B slot do not. Any suggestions would be most welcome.

The CFexpress card does not appear in the Lightroom import dialogue as a device as does the SD card. It should be seen as a regular drive in the dialogue. Does it?

You will need a dedicated CF card reader, does the Lexar have this function? I have a scandisk which is just for that type of card.

There are dual slot card readers that read CFexpress cards. There are Card readers that have a slot for XQD cards which are port compatible with CF express cards but do not read CFexpress cards. I also have a XQD Card reader that will not read CFexpress cards. My Nikon camera accepts both XQD and CFexpress cards in the single card slot. I have CFexpress card readers from Lexar, Sony and ZIYUTEK
