The S5 Parent Meeting was successfully held! Tonight, home and school gathered to focus on further education planning and discuss the future growth of our students.

At the start of the meeting, Principal Mr. WAN used a creative approach by leading parents and students in a simulated archery movement. He compared planning for the future to drawing a bow: only with the correct posture and a clear goal can the “arrow of ideals” reach its destination accurately. At the same time, by experiencing the physical tension of the drawn bow, parents were able to more deeply empathize with the pressure and perseverance their children feel as they prepare for their public examinations—a journey of dedication akin to “sharpening a sword for ten years”.

Principal Mr. WAN also used the metaphor of eagles raising their young: when a young eagle first spreads its wings to soar, the parent eagles always watch over them from above, providing a sense of security without binding their wings. He expressed his hope that parents can be the strongest backbone for their children, letting them pursue their dreams bravely. He encouraged students to adopt the mindset of a “professional candidate”—staying calm, focused, and maintaining a steady pace on their path of growth.

Following this, Assistant Principal Ms. CHEUNG provided a detailed explanation of JUPAS, the School Nominations Direct Admission Scheme, and admission to Mainland universities. She encouraged students to seize this golden opportunity and make full use of school resources and the support of “Dream Flyers” mentors to explore diverse pathways. Vice-Principal Mr. TAM also shared information regarding various language examinations and the academic support provided by the school to fully safeguard our S5 students’ journey.

The event concluded successfully amidst warm exchanges between teachers, students, parents, and mentors. With home and school working together—supporting with heart, listening with care, and walking alongside our students without binding their potential—we empower every student to pursue their dreams with passion and stride confidently toward a brilliant future!
