There is a Winter Storm forecast for the northeast on 12/26-12/27. I am scheduled to arrive at HPN at around 3PM-4PM EDT. I believe that HPN doesn’t support CAT II or CAT III landings. I am being told that the snow is supposed to start around sunset (roughly 4:30PM). Can anyone give me a sense for whether a CAT I landing would be possible for an Airbus 320 at that time? Trying to avoid getting on a flight that I know will be diverted to JFK.
Many thanks and Happy Holidays!
