We’ve certainly been busy bees lately and we’re delighted to introduce a very special new arrival to Shop Kit Kemp, our very own London honey bundles. Produced by beekeeper Henry Steel and The London Beekeepers, our honey comes from hives nestled within the beautiful surroundings of London’s Hyde Park. Beautifully packaged in a glass jar featuring an illustration of the Hyde Park lodge by Willow Kemp, each jar is as delightful to display as it is to enjoy.

Over 80,000 bees per hive, have worked tirelessly to produce 150 jars of this unique honey at Hyde Park’s Prince of Wales Lodge.

Our London honey is not only delicious, but also celebrated for its natural benefits. Locally produced honey may help support resistance to seasonal colds and for Londoners in particular, may assist in easing hay fever symptoms due to the local pollen collected by the bees. Unlike many commercial practices, we choose to allow our bees to retain enough of their own honey stores to sustain themselves naturally, supporting the wellbeing of the hive and respecting the rhythm of the seasons.

London honey is especially prized for its exceptional quality and distinctive character. The city’s remarkable diversity of parks, gardens and green spaces provides bees with an extraordinary range of flowers and plants from which to collect nectar. This rich variety creates a beautifully complex honey with a unique depth of flavour, offering delicate layers and notes inspired by the many blooms found across London’s landscape.
