LIC launches MyLIC and Super Sales Saathi appsThe Ministry of Finance on Wednesday (April 15, 2026) launched two new digital platforms of Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC). The new customer-focused MyLIC app and the Super Sales Saathi app have been designed for sales intermediaries.

What are the benefits of new LIC apps?The Super Sales Saathi app is aimed at empowering LIC’s intermediaries and field staff to serve customers more efficiently and confidently, right from onboarding to policy servicing. It offers digital tools for marketing insights, performance tracking, customer management and policy servicing, helping agents deliver faster and more streamlined services to families.

What benefits does the MyLIC app offer to policyholders?After downloading the app, customers can view and manage their insurance portfolio at one place, and can also pay premiums instantly. They can track policy benefits in real time and avail paperless policy loan. Customers can update policies online and can also revive lapsed policies online.
They can also explore and buy policies online with a paperless e-KYC process.

What are the key features available on the Super Sales Saathi app?The platform offers a comprehensive suite of digital sales tools, including real time policy status tracking, automated reminders for follow ups and integrated communication with customers. It also leverages AI-driven nudges to enhance customer value, along with digital sales kits and product explainers for on-the-go presentations. Additionally, performance dashboards enable intermediaries to effectively monitor targets and track their achievements.

How to register for LIC e-services onlineStep 1: Visit www.licindia.in and Click on ‘Customer Portal’
Step 2: If you have not registered earlier for Customer Portal, click on ‘New user’
Step 3: You will be required to choose the user id and password of your choice and submit
Step 4: Login through this newly created user id and click on the option of ‘Basic Services’ - “Add Policy”
Step 5: Enrol all your remaining policies

At this stage, all the basic services will be available under your enrolled policies.Thereafter, follow the 3-step process for the registration of premier services:
