For over a decade, the Disability Power 100 (DP100) campaign recognised thousands of disabled leaders, trailblazers and changemakers. Shaw Trust was proud to lead the campaign and is now delighted to announce that the Disabled Entrepreneurs Network (DEN), led by Jacqueline Winstanley, has offered to take it forward. Shaw Trust is therefore donating the ownership of the campaign to DEN. 

 “The Disability Power 100 has always been more than just a list for me. It’s about peer recognition, shared experiences and the collective influence we have when we come together. I am delighted that Alona Havilland will join me in shaping next phase of the campaign.   

For us it was too good, and too important, to let go. For a decade it has recognised disabled people across every sector, every walk of life – beyond the familiar faces. It is that breadth and depth that is exactly what makes it matter. I am honoured to carry it forward, because I know how much community matters. For every person recognised and celebrated, there are hundreds of us quietly achieving change in our lives. The Disability Power 100 recognises this quiet, unstoppable change, and ensures that collectively, we take our space at the table.”
