Gwyneth Paltrow and Jennifer Lopez have been photographed together for the very first time.

The movie stars were arm-in-arm at the Hollywood Reporter Women In Entertainment event on Wednesday after both won awards: Lopez received this year’s Equity in Entertainment Award and Paltrow got the Sherry Lansing Leadership Award. 

They were chummy as both smiled while at the breakfast gala held at The Beverly Hills Hotel. 

As Daily Mail reported last month, they are on good terms with each other after a frosty phase more than 25 years ago.

'They are doing OK, they are friends,' said a source told Daily Mail. 'There is no frost, no bad vibes, they are good.'

This comes after Lopez put down Paltrow in a 1998 Movieline magazine interview where she said the blonde was better known for her boyfriend Brad Pitt than her numerous films. 

Daily Mail has reached out to reps for both Paltrow and Lopez for comment.

The warmer environment between the two A-list ladies - who both work out with fitness expert Tracy Anderson - has been hinted at for a while.

When Lopez wed the Oscar-winner's ex Ben Affleck in 2022 Paltrow commented on social media, 'Love is in the air.'

Paltrow and Affleck dated on and off for about three years, from 1997 to 2000. Lopez and Affleck dated twice: first from 2002 to 2004, and then again from 2021 until their divorce in early 2025. 

There seemed to be weirdness between the beauties after Lopez criticized Paltrow in a 1998 Movieline magazine interview.

The Selena actress said the thespian was be better known for the famous men she dated than she was for her movie roles: 'Tell me what she's been in? I swear to God, I don't remember anything she was in. Some people get hot by association. I heard more about her and Brad Pitt than I ever heard about her work.'

In the same interview JLo also talked about some of the other actresses who were also at the height of fame at the time, like Cameron Diaz, Madonna, Winona Ryder and Salma Hayek in the famous interview conducted by screenwriter Stephen Rebello, who wrote the movie Hitchcock which starred Anthony Hopkins.

A year later, in 1999, Paltrow took home the Best Actress Oscar for her work in Shakespeare In Love.

Interestingly, the insider told Daily Mail that Affleck's other ex-wife Jennifer Garner is also friends with both Paltrow and Lopez: 'There is no tension among them even though they have been with the same guy.'

Paltrow and Affleck dated on and off for about three years, from 1997 to 2000. They met at a party in the late 1990s and co-starred in two movies: Shakespeare in Love (1998) and Bounce (2000), but officially broke up for good in 2000.

Lopez and Affleck dated twice: first from 2002 to 2004, and then again from 2021 until their divorce in early 2025. 

They met on the set of Gigli in 2001 and became engaged in 2002 before ending their first relationship in January 2004. 

The two reconnected in 2021 and remarried in July 2022, but filed for divorce in August 2024, with the separation finalized in early 2025.

Garner and Affleck were together from 2005 to 2015, marrying in June 2005 and separating in June 2015. They first met on the set of Pearl Harbor in 2000 and their romance later developed while filming Daredevil in 2003, before they became a couple.
