MOSCOW, July 28. /TASS/. A magistrate judge in the Tagansky District has fined the social network TikTok 4 mln rubles ($50,700) for failing to comply with demands from federal authorities to remove inaccurate, socially significant information, the press service of the Moscow City Court told TASS.

"On July 28, 2026, the Tagansky District Court of Moscow found TikTok Pte. Ltd. guilty of committing an administrative offense under Article 19.7.10-4 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (failure by a social network owner to comply with an order issued by the federal executive body responsible for control and supervision in the fields of mass media, mass communications, information technologies, and telecommunications). The court imposed an administrative penalty in the form of a fine of 4,000,000 rubles," the press service said.

Moscow’s court had previously fined the social network for a similar offense.
