MOSCOW, August 12. /TASS/. The Supreme Court has discovered that the Yabloko party, after registering for the State Duma elections, received about three million rubles ($36,000) for its political activities from counterparties from abroad, according to the court's decision to remove the party from the elections.

"According to a secret certificate from Rosfinmonitoring, donations from the party's counterparties, who received funding from the United States of America, the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates, Israel and a number of other countries in the amount of 2.8 million rubles, were received on Yabloko's account from July 9 to August 2," the document says.

It notes that a total of 74 individuals were identified among the contractors of the Yabloko party, whose accounts received about 80 million rubles ($966,000) from 310 foreign individuals, including people from Germany, Canada, the United Kingdom and Turkey from April 2023 to August 2026.

On August 10, the Supreme Court removed Yabloko from the elections to the State Duma at the request of the Rodina party.

The court session lasted more than nine hours. If the decision comes into force, Yabloko will not be able to participate in the elections to the State Duma. The party will also be deprived of the right to free and paid airtime on federal state TV channels and radio stations, including participation in TV debates. In addition, the party will lose the right to campaign in support of the cancelled list, to produce and distribute campaign materials.
