MELITOPOL, September 25. /TASS/. The Ukrainian attack on volunteers from Siberia’s Omsk Region in the Zaporozhye Region showed that Vladimir Zelensky is seeking a war against civilians, Russian Foreign Ministry's Ambassador-at-Large Rodion Miroshnik said.

"The attempt on the life of civilians, aggravated by deliberate attacks on civilian volunteers who were delivering humanitarian cargo to an area where Kiev is seeking to make life unbearable, is a war crime," the Russian diplomat wrote on his Telegram channel. "That act only emphasizes that Zelensky seeks to wage a war exactly against the civilian population and to inflict extreme hardship," he added.

Earlier, Zaporozhye Region Governor Yevgeny Balitsky said three volunteers from the Omsk Region were killed and two others were injured in a Ukrainian attack on a humanitarian convoy.
