Thanks for responding. I'm using Alfred 5.7.3 [2320], and Mac OS 26.5.2. I'm almost exclusively using it in the Finder or in Save dialogs. I use this snippet at the start of the filename when I'm saving/renaming files. But testing it repeatedly in different apps led me to an idea of what might be happening. I type {keyword}{space}, but the {space} is registering before the snippet is decoded, so the space drops in front of the date. It's not really the snippet that is creating the space, it's my keystroke rate. I'll introduce a slight pause before the space and see if it goes away
