SIGABO – Instead of talking about the storyline, many netizens are discussing the visuals of ‘Sigabo’ after an alleged AI-generated wedding scene caught their attention.

The latest episode of Sigabo, the newest television drama headlined by Kapamilya Primetime King Coco Martin, has become the center of online discussion after viewers claimed that one of its scenes appeared to have been created using artificial intelligence (AI).

Episode 13 of the series, which aired on Wednesday, July 8, featured the wedding of a Filipino-Chinese couple. Shortly after the episode was broadcast, several netizens took to social media, alleging that parts of the sequence looked AI-generated rather than traditionally filmed or produced.

The scene quickly sparked mixed reactions, with many viewers expressing disappointment while others simply pointed out the noticeable visual effects. Among the comments shared online were:

The series follows the story of Gabo, a devoted son and former convict who attempts to rebuild his life after being released from prison for a crime he did not commit. Determined to start over, he faces new challenges while seeking justice and redemption.

Joining Coco Martin in the series is his longtime partner, Julia Montes, who plays the show’s leading lady. Despite the criticism surrounding the alleged AI-generated scene, the drama continues to attract viewers as audiences closely follow the unfolding story and await any response from the production regarding the online speculation.
