The STADA Arzneimittel AG group (“STADA”) has acquired certain rights to the Locobase® dermatology brand from Karo Healthcare, including commercial rights to the Locobase® skincare range in Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden.
 
STADA is an international pharmaceutical group that focuses on a three-pillar strategy consisting of consumer healthcare products, generics and specialty pharma. 
 
Locobase® is a leading brand in the dry skin market across the Nordic markets. The specialist skin brand comprises a broad portfolio addressing the needs of consumers with dry, sensitive or barrier impaired skin, including products that are used as part of the care and management of conditions such as eczema or psoriasis. 
 
Baker McKenzie acted as legal adviser to STADA working closely with the STADA in-house legal team represented by Marcus Heppner (Director Legal Affairs) and Anna-Maria Krekeler (Associate Director Legal).
