Husqvarna Motorcycles has expanded its Premium Manufacturer’s Warranty program, with four-year coverage now applying across its full street-legal motorcycle line-up from model year 2025 onwards. The announcement was issued on March 11 and broadens a scheme that had previously only covered selected street models.
The updated warranty applies across Husqvarna’s Travel, Naked and Supermoto categories, regardless of engine capacity. Husqvarna notes that some motorcycles, including non-homologated or track-focused models, remain outside the program.
The new four-year Premium Manufacturer’s Warranty covers all street-homologated models within the Travel, Naked, and Supermoto categories, including:
Importantly, the broader cover is not limited to bikes sold from today. Husqvarna says the new warranty also applies to MY25-on motorcycles already sitting in dealer stock, as well as units that have already been sold or registered, provided all warranty conditions are met. The Premium Manufacturer’s Warranty is free of charge.
For owners, the key condition is servicing. Husqvarna says all scheduled maintenance must be carried out by an authorised dealer in line with the official service schedule. Its Australian warranty page states that after each scheduled service, the premium cover remains active for up to 12 months, or until the next scheduled service, with total coverage extending to a maximum of 4 years from first use. The warranty is also attached to the motorcycle rather than the owner, so any remaining coverage transfers with the bike if it is sold.
For Australian and New Zealand customers, the announcement does not replace the existing five-year Norden 901 offer. Husqvarna’s local “Explore with Confidence” campaign remains in place for the Norden 901 and Norden 901 Expedition, adding an extra year of factory-backed cover, along with regional airbox sealing and foam air-filter changes tailored to local conditions.
For Australian readers, the takeaway is straightforward. Husqvarna has now aligned its broader street range with a four-year premium warranty for MY25-on bikes, while Norden 901 buyers in Australia and New Zealand continue to receive a separate five-year local package.
