Her confidence was shattered when Wes Nelson unceremoniously dumped her to pursue Megan Barton Hanson. 

And in an unlucky twist of fate, it looks like history could repeat itself for Laura Anderson after New Jack Fowler voiced his doubts about their romance on Love Island on Monday night. 

In a teaser clip for Tuesday's show, Jack, 22, was seen having a heart-to-heart with Wes, 20, after his head was turned by one of the stunning new girls who entered the villa.

In the voiceover, Iain Stirling said: 'Who's having second thoughts?' before the scene cut to Sam and Georgia both expressing their doubts. 

But in a surprise turn of events, Jack told Wes: 'I'm not unhappy that's the thing.' 

To which, the nuclear engineer replied: 'I was this, this was me. I could have been happier. Don't waste your time, we ain't got time for that.'

And it looks like the news quickly traveled back to Laura, as she said: 'This has really f****d me off now because I knew this would happen.'

Her reference is seemingly in response to the arrival on Stephanie Lam and Laura Crane who entered the villa with two hunks Paul Knops and Josh Mair on Monday night's installment of the hit reality show. 

Jack's doubts on his feelings towards their romance will no doubt be a bitter blow to the air hostess who has had her fair share of heartache during her time in the villa. 

After being ditched by Wes for glamour model Megan, Laura was subjected to further hurt after her close pal Georgia Steel whisked Jack off on a date.

The pair then became embroiled in a heated row after Georgia claimed Jack kissed her and was very forward on the date- something the semi-professional footballer vehemently denied. 

But after patching things up, it seems like Laura could face yet more anguish as the two new girls, Stephanie and Laura, get to know the boys in the villa. 

Viewers took to Twitter following the teaser clip, to air their disappointment over the fragile state of their romance.

One wrote: 'As if Laura’s about to get pied off for the third time, poor lass,' while another added: 'WHY is Wes giving new jack the "you’re happy but could you be happier" f**kboy speech?? Feel so sorry for Laura, she’s had such a s**t time in there in regards to finding love.'

However others urged her to go for 31-year-old carpenter Paul in light of Jack's revelation, branding him 'husband material' for the Scottish beauty.  

The drama continues on Tuesday night on ITV2 at 9pm.
