The Alpenglow Chamber Music Festival will return to Summit County this month for its 29th season, bringing internationally acclaimed musicians to Breckenridge and Silverthorne for 10 days of performances. 

The festival runs Aug. 13-22 and will feature a mix of classical and contemporary works, including a celebration of American music inspired by the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Concerts and in-home soirees will give audiences the opportunity to hear musicians perform in intimate settings while public concerts will still take place in Breckenridge and Silverthorne. 

This year’s featured musicians include the Horszowski Trio — Jessie Mills on violin, Rieko Aizawa on piano and Ole Akahoshi on cello — along with guest artists Jennifer Grim on flute, Daniel Lippel on guitar, Ara Gregorian on viola and Daniel McGrew on tenor.
