Predication and betting site Polymarket has doubled its footprint at 78 Crosby Street to 12,700 square feet, adding the fourth floor to the space it already leases on the fifth floor.

Polymarket has been headquartered at the Lower Manhattan building since 2023. Its original lease for 6,350 square feet was also extended, with both deals now terminating in a future year that was not disclosed.

The tenant was represented by Emilie Goldman of JLL, while property owner Milkystar was represented by Nicholas Judson, Wendy McDonald and Crosby Matthews of Judson CRE. The asking rent for the space was $85 per foot as demand for offices in SoHo has continually increased over the past year.

The fourth floor was previously occupied by a satiric iteration of Enron, the Houston-based energy corporation that became the poster child for accounting fraud and filed for bankruptcy in 2001. The company used the floor in 2025 when it launched the fictitious “Egg” as a self-contained nuclear energy source.

New York-based Polymarket allows users to bet on the outcome of sports games, the weather, politics and almost anything someone can think of. The 28-year-old founder and CEO, Shayne Coplan, is currently recognized as the world’s youngest self-made billionaire. Since its inception in 2020, Polymarket has raised roughly $2 billion and is now seeking to raise more funds to create a $15 billion valuation.

In June, Polymarket processed $10.7 billion in trades on its crypto-based international exchange and $3.3 billion on its regulated U.S. exchange. The platform operates under its parent company, Blockratize.

Note: An earlier version of this article said that Polymarket was adding the fifth floor to their existing footprint; they added the fourth floor. CO regrets the error.
