High prices crunching global oil demand, says IEA

Surging oil prices following the breakdown of the mid-June Iran-US ceasefire agreement will crunch world oil demand by another 500,000 barrels a day (b/d) this year, but consumption will bounce back in 2027, the International Energy Agency (IEA) said on Wednesday.
