Jamie Laing has shared a gushing tribute to his wife and 'best friend' Sophie Habboo by posting a montage of clips of his partner to Instagram on Friday.

The Candy Kittens owner, 37, sweetly bragged that he has 'nailed it' when it comes to picking a life partner, who he married three years ago.

Jamie picked clips of Sophie caring for their little boy Ziggy, eight months, as well as fun videos of the couple larking around together.

He also shared moments of Sophie at work on red carpets, as they regularly host red carpet premieres and awards events together.

In one clip, Sophie had her arm affectionately slung around Jamie's chest as they posed together on a set of steps.

Jamie included an emotional voice over in the video, which said: 'Do you ever look at your spouse and think, I really nailed it. 

'The most important decision you're ever going to make in your life, the person you are going to spend every day with on this earth, I picked right. I am so grateful for you and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you.'

Jamie's supportive post comes after Sophie tearfully announced she is leaving her Wednesdays podcast to 'prioritise' spending time with her son Ziggy.

The former Made In Chelsea star has hosted the show with her best pal Melissa Tattam since 2021, but shared she would be stepping down in the latest episode.

Sophie broke down as she told listeners she wanted to balance 'being the best mum she can be with the opportunities she has', and this meant stepping down from hosting her podcast.

She shared that Melissa would continue to host the show, and would now be joined full-time by their close friend Ruby Adler.

Sophie welcomed her eight-month-old son Ziggy with her husband Jamie Laing back in December.

She said: 'This is actually going to be my last episode. 

'I love you guys so much, and I've had the best time, and I'm so grateful for all your support, and honestly I feel like we have just got the best community.

'I look back at all of the episodes and all the fun we've had and the dilemmas, and you've literally grown up with both Melissa and I, and I couldn't be more grateful, that you've come back every single week.

'You've spread the word, you've helped us grow this podcast, and we've just got the best community. You're the loveliest girls and boys, and I couldn't love you more and you've really helped me grow as a person and I'm going to miss this so much.

'But as you know, I've obviously become a Mum, and I've realised that I just need to prioritise my son and just spend as much time as I can with him. I just feel it's the right time for me to step away. But the podcast isn't going anywhere.'

Sophie said she wanted to guest on the podcast 'all the time', and she would be 'handing over the baton' to Ruby as a co-host on the show permanently.

She went on to pay tribute to her pal Melissa, saying: 'I'm so glad we met on MIC six years ago, and just, you're the bestest friend ever and thank you so much for doing this with me, and thank you for carrying the podcast, doing it with me. I've had the best time ever.'

Sophie also shared news of her podcast exit on Instagram, writing: 'This is hard to write, hosting Wednesdays as my first ever podcast has been truly the best experience. 

'I got to host with my best friend and the best team ever and for that I am forever grateful!!! It's helped me grow as a person, in so many ways I can't explain. 

'Since having my son Ziggy eight months ago I've had to balance being the best mum I can be and all my opportunities that I feel so grateful to have. 

'Sadly this means stepping away from Wednesdays, whilst I am sad to be leaving as a co-host I know I am leaving the podcast in the best hands ever with Melissa and Ruby (our true OG tiny aka Tiny Tim). 

'I love Wednesdays and all of you listeners so much, thank you for your endless support and love! I cannot wait to watch the show continue to thrive and grow in the best hands! 

'Thank you truly from the bottom of my heart for making this show so unbelievably special.'

Jamie showed his support for his wife in the comments, writing: 'You da best.' 

Sophie and Jamie have continued to host their Newly Parents podcast, and this week have also partnered with GetYourGuide for their new summer campaign.

The couple travelled to Paris to reward the nation's underappreciated Holiday Heroes by exploring the City of Love from a vintage car tour and flexing their bakery skills with a pastry master class from a French Grandmother.
