Sophie Habboo and Jamie Laing enjoyed a friendly reunion with her Made In Chelsea ex Sam Thompson and his girlfriend on Wednesday, as they mingled in the VIP suite during day 10 of Wimbledon.

Sam and Jamie famously fell out in 2019 when Jamie began dating his now-wife Sophie behind his back shortly after his six-month relationship with her ended, but they have since patched things up.

Sophie put a daring take on the all-white Wimbledon dress code by arriving in a racy cream negligee dress, while Jamie opted for a matching look.

The pair were seen posing alongside Sam and his girlfriend Talitha Balinska in Evian's Mountain Of Youth VIP suite.

Talitha, who started dating Sam in September, cut a glamorous figure in a stylish lilac floral dress as she proudly posed with her boyfriend at the tennis.

Sam and Jamie's friendship was fractured for several years after it was revealed Jamie was dating Sophie. 

But Sam shared last year that he shared an emotional phone call with Jamie following his Comic Relief challenge that brought them closer together as pals.

Speaking on Jamie's Great Company podcast, Jamie asked Sam: 'After I finished my run, even though it's bygones be bygones, I married Sophie, you came to my wedding, I phoned you up, and what did I say to you?'

Sam went on to reveal: 'You went, mate, I feel like I have never actually fully apologised to you for not being honest with you.

He continued: 'Which is so wild because you were right, bygones, it was years ago mate,

'Like (I) couldn't have been happier for you guys four years ago, five years ago, however many years ago, but it's so weird, because you said that and it made me really emotional.'

During the podcast, Sam also revealed his reasons as to why he was annoyed with Jamie for what he did.

Laughing, he said to his pal: 'You had a bit of a history for going after people's exes and people's girlfriends, you were just like that mate.

'You were young, and we've all been there, and I remember saying to you afterwards, just please don't do this one, I was like please, and then it happened.

'Then I think it's because you didn't tell me, and I had to see it. I was like, dude, what the f**k, you didn't tell me, and then I was like, he's just done the one thing. Cause at that time, I was like that's not gonna last, is he gonna throw away this for that?'

However, despite Jamie going behind Sam's back to date his now-wife Sophie several years ago, Sam believes that the couple were meant to be together and things 'happen for a reason'.

He said: 'However, now, obviously you sit there and you go no it's why you said "you better goddamn get married" and you goddamn got married! You goddamn got married, you goddamn had a kid, and it just worked out perfectly, and I think sometimes, mate, I just think sometimes things are meant to happen.

'I do think things happen for a reason, and I just think me not being on the show at that point, and you having the freedom and the space to really connect with somebody without the pressure of like one of my best mates being there.

'And what are the odds that I'm not there? and you can actually seed and flower this really nice thing that turns out into being like a marriage.' 

Sam and Sophie dated during his stint on Made In Chelsea in 2018, with the pair even indulging in a racy shower scene together.

The scenes aired just after the 9pm watershed, and viewers took to X in their droves to say how shocked they were by what they saw - with some wishing they could 'unsee' it.

They wrote: 'I was not expecting to see a simulated sex scene when I looked up from my revision. #MadeInChelsea.'

Sophie and Sam went on to split in 2019, and she claimed she decided to end their relationship as he doted on her too much.

She told new! magazine: 'His best was that he doted on my hand and foot, but his worst was maybe that he doted on me too much. Some girls like that, I don't. For me, I don't like someone who's needy. Independence is key for me.'
