In the video, Kumar questions their commitment to the issue and calls the situation “hypocrisy”. Let’s verify the claim made in the post in this article.

Claim: The video shows Ravish Kumar criticising AAP and CJP leaders for not participating in the Jharkhand students’ protest.

Fact: The video has been digitally manipulated. Ravish Kumar does not make the remarks heard in the viral clip in the original videos. AI voice detection tools, including Hive and DetectVideo AI, indicated that the audio was likely AI-generated or manipulated. In the original videos, Ravish Kumar talks about Union Education Minister Pralhad Joshi and Home Minister Amit Shah, not the Jharkhand students’ protest. Hence, the claim made in the post is FALSE.

A reverse image search of keyframes from the viral video led us to the original video uploaded on Ravish Kumar’s YouTube channel. Kumar is seen wearing the same black suit jacket and vertically striped shirt, with a similar background featuring a few books in the right corner. However, the wall design differs from the viral video. The video discusses Union Education Minister Pralhad Joshi and his affiliation with the RSS.

We also found another video shared on the same day in which Ravish Kumar is seen wearing a similar outfit while speaking about Home Minister Amit Shah.

Neither of these videos shows Ravish Kumar criticising AAP or CJP leaders for not participating in the Jharkhand students’ protest, indicating that the viral video may have been manipulated using AI.

We further analysed the viral video using multiple AI voice detection tools, including Hive and Hiya. The results indicated that the audio was likely AI-generated or manipulated. This suggests that the viral video was digitally altered.
