Tata Power Solaroof has successfully installed over 61,000 rooftop solar systems, representing a cumulative installed capacity exceeding 273 MWp across the state.

The adoption of rooftop solar in Kerala has been largely driven by the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana, which has accelerated residential solar adoption through attractive incentives and policy support, enabling consumers to transition to sustainable, cost-effective energy solutions.

Quoting a study, the company said in a press release that it is recognised as India’s No. 1 rooftop solar provider, commanding a 14 per cent market share. The milestone reflects the growing adoption of clean energy solutions in Kerala and Tata Power Solaroof’s commitment to making solar power accessible, affordable, and reliable for consumers.

The company has appointed 16 channel partners across the state, ensuring seamless customer engagement, project execution, and after-sales service. Kerala’s increasing focus on renewable energy, coupled with rising consumer interest in reducing electricity costs and carbon emissions, has accelerated rooftop solar adoption.

The company offers warranty protection, including up to 25 years on solar modules and a comprehensive minimum five-year warranty covering both product and workmanship, providing customers with long-term peace of mind.
