Sky Sports reports that the fee Newcastle United have agreed with SC Freiburg for Johan Manzambi is €57.5 million, rather than the €60 million figure that was previously reported.

On Thursday, Sky Germany reported that Newcastle United have reached a full agreement with SC Freiburg over a €60 million deal for Johan Manzambi.

Sky Sports in England also reports on the agreement, but claims that the transfer fee is slightly lower, at €57.5 million.

The British broadcaster also notes that Manzambi will not sign a contract until after the World Cup, where he has helped Switzerland reach the quarter-finals.

With the 20-year-old also linked with other clubs, Newcastle remain cautious until the deal is fully completed, especially after missing out on Victor Muñoz to Liverpool at the last minute last month.
