A Premier League club is preparing a bid for Freiburg star Johan Manzambi.

“Here we go” soon? According to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, Newcastle United are preparing a bid for Freiburg and Switzerland shootingstar Johan Manzambi!

The 20-year-old is having an outstanding World Cup campaign for Switzerland and has helped his team with three goals and two assists to the Round of 16.

For Freiburg, Manzambi got 16 goal contributions in 47 games. Transfermarkt value him at €50 million - Freiburg are reportedly hoping for a transfer fee around €70 million.

At this stage, with Switzerland still being in the World Cup, it looks highly unlikely that Manzambi will return to Julian Schuster's team for the 2026/27 Bundesliga season.

There are multiple clubs being linked with the young playmaker, but Newcastle seem to have the upper hand as of right now.
