Current status/troubleshooting performed:
- Draws 20V and ~3.45A on USB-C (power delivery is negotiating normally).
- External monitor / peripherals show no output.
- Performed DFU mode revive and restore using Apple Configurator 2, but it did not resolve the issue.
- Internal connections and cables checked; no physical or liquid damage found.
Since standard DFU restore and basic troubleshooting haven't fixed a post-upgrade failure like this, what component level or firmware issue (such as T2 ROM corruption or specific power rails) could cause this behavior?
