The event, held at Rai Production Centre in Rome, started at 19:00hrs on 23rd June 2026 and ended at 15:00hrs on 25th June 2026.
The workshop explored how fact-checking and validation are evolving in an ever-changing media landscape, shaped by AI. By combining discussions, case studies and practical exercises, participants were able to discover the main challenges and opportunities for European newsrooms, while testing a range of fact-checking tools to strengthen their editorial workflows and digital investigation skills.
