Realme has added a new 5G smartphone to its Indian portfolio with the launch of the realme 16x 5G. The new model focuses on features that matter for everyday smartphone users, particularly battery life, a smoother display, and 5G connectivity. The company has equipped the device with a large 7000mAh battery and a 144Hz display, while the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset handles its performance needs. The Realme 16x 5G also brings a 50MP AI camera, fast charging, and several software-based features. Alongside these specifications, realme has given the phone added protection against dust, water, and accidental drops, making durability another part of its appeal.
Realme 16x 5G: Key SpecificationsThe Realme 16x 5G comes with a large 6.8-inch display featuring a 144Hz adaptive refresh rate. The screen can reach up to 1200 nits of peak brightness, making the high-refresh-rate panel one of the main highlights of the smartphone. The higher refresh rate should offer smoother scrolling, animations, and gaming compared with standard 60Hz panels.
The biggest feature, however, is the 7000mAh battery. The phone supports 45W wired fast charging and also includes reverse wired charging. Realme has added AI-based power-saving technology and AI phone cooling to help manage battery consumption and temperature during extended use.
