Robert Irwin has revealed his surprising new career move just weeks after nabbing a milestone nomination for the prestigious Gold Logie.

The conservationist, 20, has made waves on screen since his TV hosting debut on I'm A Celebrity Australia and made history as the youngest star to nab a Gold Logie nomination.

However, he has now unveiled his unlikely new career move away from TV as he has expanded his career as a product influencer, fronting a new campaign.

The presenter took to Instagram on Monday to share footage of himself starring in a new campaign for meal prep delivery service HelloFresh.

In the paid promotion, Robert is shown chatting with some of the animals at Australia Zoo in Queensland as he promotes the service.

Robert, who recently copped backlash for not being vegan despite being a conservationist, detailed how you can 'add fish to a veggie dish' in one change with the meal plans.

'HelloFresh has made planning family feeding time as easy for us humans as it is for you guys,' Robert tells Albie the echidna.

He is then seen spruiking the service as he jokingly tells his zoo animals about the various benefits of subscribing to it.

He has joined the likes of YouTuber Natalie Tran, NRL star Beau Ryan, Paralympian Dylan Alcott and comedian Ed Kavalee in fronting a campaign for Hello Fresh AU.

Many of Robert's followers took to the comments section to express their amusement over the new advert.

'The bloopers are gold!' wrote Robert's mother Terri Irwin and another fan added: 'Can all advertisements be like that?'

His move into advertising comes after it was reported that he is raking in the big bucks after signing several lucrative presenting gigs, each paying hundreds of thousands of dollars.

He is one of Australia's most in-demand talents and currently hosts Channel Ten's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! Australia and fronts a QLD tourism campaign.

'Robert can basically name his price for work right now. His brand, both as a TV talent and an advertising influencer, is in white-hot demand,' an insider told New Idea magazine.

Robert was the 'hot favourite' to win the Gold Logie at the 64th annual TV Week Logie Awards on August 18, but missed out to Channel Seven presenter Larry Emdur.

The milestone nomination saw him up for the night's biggest award alongside a string of TV veterans, including his I'm A Celebrity co-host Julia Morris.

It comes after it was reported that he is raking in the big bucks after signing several lucrative presenting gigs, each paying hundreds of thousands of dollars amid his Logies nomination

As well as his TV success, he is also moving more into advertising and earned $200,000 to appear in a minute-long Twisties commercial, as well as a similar pay check to appear in a Queensland tourism campaign alongside Bluey.

He joined drummer G Flip for the Twisties campaign back in May, but not all fans were happy about the move with many criticising the cringeworthy advert.

The advert saw Robert advocate for the chicken flavour of Twisties while G Flip gunned for cheese in the ultimate battle.

But the lighthearted clip has sparked backlash in the comments of the post that was shared to Robert's Instagram page.

Some fans remarked that they were surprised Robert was not vegan considering he is a wildlife conservationist.

'I'm honestly surprised that you aren't vegan, or at least vegetarian @robertirwinphotography someone who loves and cares about animals like you should care about the animals in the meat industry too,' one said.
