Robert Irwin has taken to social media to share an unwelcome guest in his hotel room while filming I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! in South Africa.

On Thursday, the wildlife warrior shared a video of the moment he discovered that a vervet monkey was causing a ruckus at this Jungle-side accomodation.

The video shows a curious monkey cheekily making itself at home in Robert's bathroom.

The young wildlife enthusiast found humor in the situation, narrating the unexpected encounter with his usual charm.

'I'm sitting in my room, and I hear a noise. Okay, that'll be what it is,' he recounted, just before revealing the adorable source of the commotion.

Robert attempted to coax the monkey out of his room, saying, 'Alright, could you please exit the premises? I don't need you in my bathroom, mate.'

Fortunately, the monkey promptly leaped out of an open window.

Reflecting on the encounter with a smile, Robert admitted to a minor oversight in security: 'I really thought that door was locked. Clearly not.'

He waved off his unexpected guest with a friendly, 'Have a good one. See ya, mate.'

It comes after Channel 10 have confirmed that Irwin  will be returning as co-host for the 2025 season of the reality show.

Speaking to Daily Mail Australia, a Channel 10 spokesperson vehemently denied reports that suggested Irwin's tenure at the network might be ending.

'What a load of croc! We've heard a lot of furphys over the past 10 seasons, but media reports about Robert no longer hosting I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! take the cake and are completely fake,' they said in a statement.

'We've just wrapped an excellent season and can't wait to do it all again next year.'

The Woman's Day's report, which hinted at a potential move back to rival network Seven, was quickly quashed by our source within Channel 10.

It comes as an insider at the network praised the wildlife warrior for his recent hosting gig.

'Robert's easygoing and faultless live TV skills have won over the nation. But contrary to reports, his career at Ten is far from over; Robert is definitely staying with us,' they said.

'Robert has been an absolute treasure on the show.

'His wildlife expertise, and genuine charm has resonated well with viewers, and we're thrilled to have him back.'
