Rhyce Power's ex-girlfriend Vanessa Sierra has broken her silence on his new romance with Married At First Sight's Tamara Joy. 

Taking to Instagram on Monday, the glamour model said she was shocked to discover Rhyce and Tamara had hooked up in Bali.

She also questioned if the whole relationship is just a 'publicity' stunt.  

'I actually only found out about this yesterday, and to be honest, I was really shocked,' Vanessa said during a Q&A with fans. 

'I'm not sure if she genuinely likes him or it is more for publicity? Not going to lie, when I found out I felt sick to the bone.'

Rhyce, 28, and Tamara, 30, debuted their romance last week, sharing several cosy selfies to Instagram from the Indonesian party island.  

Rhyce's new relationship follows his messy split from Vanessa earlier this year.  

Vanessa alleged following her break-up with Rhyce that he assaulted her during a fitness holiday in Thailand in March. She later filed an intervention order in Australia.

Under the Victorian intervention order, which is similar to an apprehended violence order (AVO), the heavily-tattooed tradesman is banned from contacting Vanessa.

In a lengthy statement shared to Instagram in April upon his return to Sydney, Rhyce said there was more to the story and appeared to deny Vanessa's claims.

'There's always two sides to every story, and everyone needs to believe that,' he said.

Since the split with Vanessa, Rhyce, who is the older brother of MAFS 'villain' Jessika Power, has mostly been travelling overseas.

After spending a considerable amount of time in Thailand, he recently moved to Bali and claims to be earning money from various investments.
