Celeste Barber's husband Api Robin's chuckled up a storm as he watched a sneak peek of his wife's new Netflix series Wellmania on Thursday. 

The Sydney-born comedian, 40, is starring in a new comedy on the streaming site that follows her character Liv as she embarks on a strict 'wellness journey' after a doctor diagnosed her with a 'catastrophic' bill of health. 

It's due to come out on March 29, but Barber's husband got a preview before the rest of the globe. 

It appears he is a huge fan of the show and is proud as punch as he shared a photo of himself in hysterics while watching it. 

He posted the frame to his Instagram and captioned it: 'Lucky to catch an early look at WELLMANIA with my mate, the star - Celeste Barber. 

'I'm so proud. Its so bloody great. Out worldwide March 29.'

Fans of the couple expressed their excitement for the series in his comments, but also complimented their supportive and loving relationship. 

'Save that Date. Cannot wait. More Celeste is what the World needs right now (+ always). She's brightens the darkest of days,' one fan wrote.

While another said: 'Can't wait to watch. You guys are great.' 

The Netflix series is a major career high for the Aussie comedian. 

It is also the perfect fit for the comic as she often mocks celebrities and influencers on her social media for portraying an unrealistic image of what 'wellness is'. 

The trailer for the series shows her character Liv, who is based in New York, flying to Australia and then being unable to return home after falling ill, which sees her strive to live healthier.
